MEET THE DJS
John Estrada
John established Best Of Times Professional Disc Jockeys and Entertainers in 1988 and has provided professional disc jockey entertainment at all celebrations. His prior experience includes performing with various live bands. As a musician he performed in wedding bands, rock bands and a jazz ensemble. He enjoys entertaining and only works with individuals who have the same passion and commitment.
John was professionally trained prior to his entrance into the professional disc jockey field. When he started "Best of Times" he took his training experience and developed an incredible training program. All disc jockeys, emcees and entertainers must complete the training program...no exceptions! This ensures you receive only the best in professional disc jockey entertainment.
John is constantly furthering his education by watching professional trade DVDs, reading all trade publications available and learning from other professionals. He is always adding something new to the training program. By doing this our professionals will always provide something new and exciting for your celebration.
Derek Timothy
Derek joined the team in 2002 and has provided professional Disc Jockey entertainment at wedding Receptions, bar/bat mitzvahs and corporate Events. Derek is one of our master Disc Jockeys with 20 plus years experience in the Disc Jockey profession.
He is passionate about entertaining and dancing. Derek is committed to entertaining. He provides outstanding professional entertainment at all celebrations.
Nick Foley
Nick joined the team in 2011 and has provided professional DJ entertainment at weddings, corporate events, general celebrations and school dances. Nick always wanted to DJ since he was a teenager. During his high school years, Nick DJ’d parties as a hobby for friends and family. He knew that he wanted to take his passion for music and entertaining to the next level.
He joined the Best of Times team to learn how to become a professional mobile disc jockey. His specialty is DJing for teens and kids. He graduated from East Stroudsburg University with Cum Laude honors in Special Education. Nick is fun and outgoing and is a true professional committed to providing the best DJ entertainment at every celebration.
Courtenie Guion
Courtenie joined the team in 2017 and has provided professional DJ entertainment at various live events including wedding receptions, corporate events, school dances, and general celebrations. She left the corporate world and joined the Best Of Times to follow her passion in becoming a professional disc jockey/entertainer. Courtenie sang in the church choir and has a passion for all kinds of music.
